Course Content

Roles & responsibilities of the Close Protection Operative, threat and risk assessment, surveillance awareness, operational planning, team work, reconnaissance, body protection drills, route selection, vehicle techniques, search awareness, venue based security, communication & conflict management skills, practical assessments.
Task Services Close Protection and Surveillance exam.

Please be aware that these courses are designed and run to give you, the operative, all the relevant knowledge and experience you will require to carry out your duties.

These courses are not designed for the gun happy macho man!

Surveillance part of the course will consist of the following:

       1.  Types of surveillance

       2.  Who uses surveillance

       3.  The importance of dress, disguise, features, mannerisms, and demeanor as they relate to surveillance operations.

       4.  Basic techniques of a Foot Surveillance

       5.  Basic techniques of a Mobile Surveillance

       6.  Basic techniques of a Fixed Surveillance

       7.  Identify surveillance operator vulnerabilities

       8.  Counter-Surveillance Detection

       9.  Procedure for Lost-Contact drill

Close Protection section of the course will consist of the following:

Close protection and surveillance techniques used in protecting our clients mean that the utmost discretion and professionalism must be used. You will be awarded with a certificate if you pass the exam detailing the training you have undertaken ranging from Pass to Distinction.
